Definition
Semi-thick plastic water-based coating, waterproof and decorative, ready to use, for interior and exterior.
Purpose
Exterior: TECHNOTEX can be applied to ail new or old surfaces such as concrete, rough plaster, cernent facing, brick, etc.
Interior: for the décoration of living rooms, playrooms, entrances, stairs, hallways, etc.
TECHNOTEX can also be used for the rénovation of Tyrolean plaster, plastic coatings and insulation procedures from the exterior.
Description
TECHNOTEX’s high content of binders and noble pigments makes it a particularly effective product, endowed with the following properties :
- Impermeability to surface water.
- Water vapour permeability.
- Can be applied just like a traditional paint.
- Crack-proof
- Resistance of film.
- Total adherence.
- Relatively dirt-free coating with easy upkeep.
Guarantees
TECHNOTEX benefits from a ten-year guarantee for durability and impermeability to surface water, in the absence of micro-cracks.
Surface preparation
New non-absorbent surfaces: apply a coat of TECHNOFOND beforehand. On shuttered or rough concrete, it is recommended to apply a coat of TECHNOFIX in order to neutralise ail traces of concrete form oil. On new absorbent surfaces (plaster, etc.): apply a coat of TECHNOFIX at the rate of 150 g/m2, beforehand. On old unpainted surfaces: brushing or removal of dust, followed by the application of a coat of TECHNOFOND (150 g/m2). On old already painted surfaces: stripping of peeling areas and general washing. Application of a coat of TECHNOFIX or TECHNOFOND, depending on the case.
Application
TECHNOTEX can be applied like an ordinary paint with a wool roller or brush, being careful to apply an even coat in order to obtain a regular dappled finish. TECHNOTEX can also be applied with an Airless sprayer.
Recommendations
TECHNOTEX is sensitive to freezing temperatures. Do not store or apply at temperatures of less than + 5°C or greater than + 35°C. TECHNOTEX is delivered ready to use. No thinning is necessary.
